Bluesteel srl is proudly at work on a new innovative and technologically advanced building, on behalf of BARR & BARR INC, one of the USA's elite construction companies, specialist since the 1950s in cultural/historic restoration, academic, healthcare, and research projects.
The Verizon Executive Education Center located on Roosevelt Island in NYC will be a place for the entire tech community to gather, a convening place to leverage the impact the campus has on technology beyond its degree programs.
The prototype of the new building has been tested by the independent and prestigious Istituto Giordano S.p.A., at the presence of customers, architects and consultants.
The mock-up of the UNITIZED SYSTEM BLUEWALL2 with decorative timber fins, has passed multiple tests:
- ASTM E 283 Standard Test Method for Rate of Air Leakage through Curtain Walls at a Static Air Pressure
- ASTM E 331 Standard Test Method for Water Penetration of Curtain Walls by Uniform Static Air Pressure Difference
- AAMA 501.1 Standard Test Method for Exterior Curtain Walls Water Penetration Using Dynamic Pressure.
- ASTM E 330 Structural Performances of Exterior Curtain Walls
